The Swinging Janice Scholarship Foundation was established in 2012 by Janice Williams-Lau in Ontario, Canada. The foundation was created with a clear purpose: to support deserving, industrious, and underprivileged students in their pursuit of secondary education in Dominica.

Janice believed deeply that in many communities, parents want the very best for their children but simply cannot provide the financial support needed for education. The foundation bridges that gap — providing not just scholarships, but books, uniforms, bags, school supplies, sanitary products, and nutritional support.

The foundation's work is made possible by donors, sponsors, and volunteers across Canada and the Caribbean. Through annual scholarship ceremonies and ongoing community partnerships, we have supported dozens of students since our founding — and we're just getting started.
